Around 600 years ago, fishermen lived in Raversyde, in the vanished village of Walraversijde. The remains of the village are still preserved underground. During the autumn half-term holiday you can play around the reconstructed fishermen’s cottages of Walraversijde in ANNO 1465.
Follow the family trail with all kinds of fun challenges, specially organised for the autumn half-term holiday. Would you like to test the Zimmer Frei blind barefoot path? Take off your shoes and put them in the soft grass. Follow the barefoot path while blindfolded and be surprised.
The path is open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Roll up your sleeves and learn how to knit nets during a workshop (Horizon Educatief) and discover some fun facts about life in the village. A family guide will happily explain everything.
Please note, you must book your entrance ticket online in advance.
