Nocturne ANNO 1465
The lost fishing settlement of Walraversijde is one of the most important archaeological sites in Flanders.
In ANNO 1465 the archaeological museum and the dwellings of the medieval fishermen’s village can be visited free of charge from 6pm till 10pm. Step – literally! – into the Middle Ages and discover how people lived at the time. The dwellings are ‘inhabited’ again by a Living History group dressed in traditional fifteenth-century costumes.
A walk will be organised especially for families. Go on a voyage of discovery and find out more about life in the Middle Ages.
