Opening Aachen battery spring of 2018

_The Aachen battery at RAVERSYDE ATLANTIKWALL will be reopened in 2018. This unique bunker complex dating from the First World War is located in a hilly dune area overlooking the sea.

Over the past 3 years, the battery has been thoroughly and extensively restored and renovated.

The Aachen battery from WWI is being restored and renovated. Accessibility will be increased, paths will be reconstructed, bunkers will be restored, collection items will be cleaned up and a new exhibition on WWI at sea and at the coast will be set up.
