Provincial domain Atlantikwall Raversyde
A 75 metres long panorama presents an image of the coastline a couple of months after the liberation of our country.
On the exterior wall at the entrance of Atlantikwall Raversyde, a unique, 75 metres long panorama of the Belgian coastline is displayed, running from Het Zwin to De Panne. It is composed of 83 stunning, historic aerial photographs taken from a low-flying American observation aircraft 78 years ago, on 4 August 1945. They are images captured with pin-sharp detail.
This photo exhibition is organized in collaboration with UGent and the Flemish Government.
