Over 60 bunkers, observation posts and artillery positions and the open or subterranean corridors consitute one of the beste preserved parts of the infamous German ATLANTIKWALL.
This defence line was built during the Second World War.

At ATLANTIKWALL Raversyde you can find the only preserved German coastal battery dating from the First World War, the Aachen Battery.

In the Flemish Hall, a few restored collection objects are displayed and you can visit an exhibition about the Second World War on the Belgian coast.
On the upper floor, you can admire the permanent exhibition ‘Atlantic Wall’ by Stephan Vanfleteren.
